What We Do at Your Visit
A pediatric provider examines the rash, asks questions to narrow down the cause, and identifies whether it's allergic, infectious, or something else. We treat what's treatable on-site, prescribe what needs prescribing, and tell you what to watch for at home.
For minor skin issues that need a quick fix — like a stubborn wart, a skin tag, or a minor area of irritated skin — we have on-site options including chemical cautery and wart/skin tag cryotherapy.

Frequently Asked Questions
My child has hives — should we come in or wait?
If the hives are paired with breathing trouble, swelling of the face or throat, or vomiting, go to the ER or call 911 — that may be anaphylaxis. If the hives are localized, your child is breathing fine, and they're miserable but stable, we're a reasonable place to come for evaluation and treatment tonight.
Can you tell me what kind of rash my child has?
Most of the time, yes. Some rashes have a clear cause; some take a day or two to declare themselves. We'll give you a working diagnosis and a clear plan for what to do if it changes.
Is this rash contagious — can my child go to school?
We'll tell you at the visit. Some rashes are highly contagious (hand-foot-mouth, impetigo); some aren't (eczema, contact rash). We'll give you a clear answer for school and daycare.
Do you treat eczema?
We treat acute flare-ups and help get them under control. Long-term eczema management is best handled by your child's regular pediatrician or a dermatologist.
